Part 1: What we are about.
Hi Everyone. Its Brian Autry the former owner of Wilmington Lady Fitness and new owner of Transform Personal Training. I know a lot of former members and area residents have been anxiously been awaiting some details on my wife Krista and I's new fitness business. A lot has happened in the last 6 weeks so I wanted to update everyone starting with our new club's name and business concept.
Firstly, Krista and I got into the fitness business because we love to workout. When you truly believe in and enjoy something you can't help but want to share it with everyone. That's how it is for us. We've taught Boot Camps, Spin classes, kickboxing and have trained thousands of people over the last 20 years. We both workout daily and thoroughly enjoy keeping up on the latest information in health, fitness and nutrition.
Although, Krista and I may be different from the norm when comes to working out and the foods we routinely dine on, we are much the same in the struggles many people face on a regular basis. We both are growing older and our bodies have changed. We are challenged daily with aches and pains, mobility and ability. The real difference, the reason we exercise daily and eat "weird" stuff is our belief in positive changes. The changes that our body and spirit make after exercising is instant. Our workouts can change our entire day, from way we feel physically and mentally. We know that many of our clients, neighbors, friends and family can benefit from the same. That's why we created Transform Personal Training.
Transform Personal Personal Training is about helping others change their lives in some way. The definition of transformation is "a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance".
Or, the definition of personal transformation:
"It's the task of changing who you are and becoming the person you want to be."
So, through the definition of transformation you get a real idea of what our club is about. For every client it will be different. Depending on someone's age, abilities, likes and dislikes the goals they choose for themselves will change. For example, a teenager my use exercise to build self confidence at school or for sports performance, a new mom might want to lose weight or someone that is getting older may desire to regain some vitality. The important thing to remember is that as we change our goal may change. Our goal at Transform is to use the tools of exercise, diet and positive role modeling to change your day and transform your life.
